Dear Patrons,
I’m really excited to finally share Estate Part 9 with you! I know it’s taken a bit longer than usual, but I wanted to make sure every detail felt just right. Many of you suggested a dining room set, and I couldn’t agree more — it just feels essential for a grand estate.
When designing the set, I wanted to create a space that feels both elegant and inviting. The fireplace became the heart of the room, adding a sense of warmth and grandeur. To make it even more versatile, I created a separate overmantel, available in both grand and petite versions. You can customize it further by adding either a mirror or a painting — whichever fits your Sims’ style best!
I really enjoyed working on the paintings for this set — they’re inspired by the elegance of John Singer Sargent and the refined charm of the 1920s. Two of the pieces are designed to fit perfectly into the overmantels, while the third, larger painting can be displayed on its own. I also made matching mirrors with a slightly weathered glass finish to add a touch of historical character.
Of course, I also couldn’t resist creating some new mural walls! There are two variations — one with a high trim that matches the panelling walls from the previous Estate sets and one with a slimmer, more understated trim. I wanted to give you options that would work well together, whether you’re going for a grand dining hall or a cosier space.
I couldn’t help but add some fun and witty object descriptions to bring a little personality to the pieces. I really enjoyed coming up with them, and I hope they make you smile when you spot them in-game.
Thank you so much for your continued support and patience — it truly means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy this new set, and I can’t wait to see how you use it in your builds!
Warm wishes and happy Simming,
Felix xx
