He out of everyone should know that’s not true. So him saying that and feeling that way doesn’t make a lot of sense. When this whole story has been about him grabbing every opportunity he can to get stronger.

He is chasing 100% yield and the alchemic external concept. The next time Percy visits Atlantis, it is going to be very interesting. As like Phoebe, Ea is going to be able to view the alchemic principles Percy has collected and if Enki had followed Percy's advice before he left Atlantis and already disclosed his knowledge of Bonding principle, circulation, his second core and also knowledge about the soul clone visitor. Then Ea would be very much awaiting a return visit of Percy to have a conversation and maybe Percy can talk his way into a deal with Ea to exchange one new principle for another with each other and help push both their alchemy comprehension higher. Just the Bonding alone would have pushed Atlantis to a greater spring, just imagine Ea's happiness at what more he can extract from Percy.

Like yes he is very strong, but there are stronger guys out there and all Percy thinks about is "damn look at those guys I allmost died killing those guys" (I like this) And he kills the guys and other characters say he is a monster, but since he is our one consistent eye into the universe our standards are warped.
