Deleted Scene - Oppo & Alisa

Hi all! I wanted to start a fun series of "deleted scenes" showing moments from throughout the game that feature other characters, and were happening behind the scenes, where Traveler wasn't present.

This first scene is set during Episode 3, with Oppo contacting Alisa for information on a C-D for the crew, and ultimately spilling the suspicions they have on the crew's newest addition.

Set in Oppo's home in Nos Vega, the Arcnos is making a holo-call to Alisa Armbrust, leader of the Crimson Dusk clan on Cursa.

Oppo: Misssss Alisa, Oppo is, uh, so happy to see you."

Oppo: Miss Alisa has changed her hair, yessss? It looks so very... blue?

Oppo gulps awkwardly as they snap their mouth shut, and Alisa gives them an impatient stare.

Alisa: Spare me the niceties, Oppo, I'm in the middle of something here. What do ya want?

Oppo: Oppo has some visitors, the Animation crew. They're looking for a part that Oppo does not have, so Oppo thought Miss Alisa might-

Alisa: You mean the Andromeda crew? As in Andromeda Six?

Oppo: Yesssss, just like Oppo said.

Alisa lets out a breath, a look of soft familiarity settling on her features.

Alisa: How are they? Is Damon with them?

Oppo: Yessss, they're all here. All seven of them.

Alisa: Good. Next time you see Reznor, tell him... hang on. Seven of them?

Oppo shifts their eyes from side to side, before letting out a nervous hiss of laughter.

Oppo: Did Oppo say seven? Uhh, Oppo meant to say six, of course.

Alisa: Oppo.

The Cursan crosses her arms over her chest, staring them down with an unimpressed scowl.

Alisa: Spill it. Now.

Oppo: Okay, okay! The Antivirus crew hassss someone with them... someone new.

Alisa: Who is it?

Oppo: Oppo thinkssss, and Oppo could be wrong. Oppo has been wrong before...

Alisa: Oppo. Spit it out before I fly over there and take your tail as a trophy.

Oppo: Ah! Oppo thinkssss this new person is the missing royal from Goldis.

Alisa: What do you mean 'missing'?

Alisa studies them intently through the holo, her nose wrinkling in confusion. This is the first she's hearing of any missing royal.

From the reports she'd received, Zovack and the K'Merii had slaughtered the entire royal family, leaving no survivors.

That sick son of a bitch had even had Prince Auberon's young kids executed. While she'd been no fan of the Peg'asi, the news had made Alisa sick to her stomach when she'd heard it.

Oppo: Only that Oppo heard from friendssss that the youngest Peg'asi sibling was not in the palace.

Oppo: Oppo wondered where they had gone, until Captain Lynch showed up with hissss crew... and a stowaway.

Oppo: They fled from Goldis directly to Oppo, looking for their help.

Alisa: Huh.

Alisa glances off to the side, the mask of calmness on her face betraying none of her thoughts.

Alisa: Keep this to yourself, you hear me? What do the Andromeda crew want from ya?

Oppo: A part for their ship. A cloaking device.

Alisa narrows her eyes, her mind ticking through all the information, and quickly coming to some sort of conclusion.

Alisa: A C-D for a ship that big won't be easy to come by, but I know someone who can help me locate one.

Alisa: Tell the Captain to head for Cursa. I'll have the C-D by the time they arrive, but it won't be cheap.

Oppo: Of course. Oppo will tell them.

Alisa: And Oppo. I'm warning you again, do not tell anyone what ya know. I need to make some calls, but I'll be in touch soon.

Alisa disappears, and Oppo lets out a long breath in relief, mumbling to themself as they end the call.

Oppo: Oppo's lipssss are sealed.

Oppo: Oh, uh... Oppo doesssss not have lips.
