MacOS Monterey 12.2, M1 iMac, and it looks like the game is running via Rosetta. Regardless, I've never hit that Renpy error screen with the apparent lines of code that often makes these games unplayable. Great job on your part! The only reason why I keep the prior version is because another Patreon game developer once removed a significant amount of content without warning. Allegedly relating to Patreon complaining about this or that. While it was still possible to download an earlier "complete" version, there was little effort to smooth out the affected portions of the game. So far, Inner Growth is, well, still growing! Again, no problem with playing through again :)

2022-02-06 20:33:55 +0000 UTCWhat build are you using (PC/Android/Mac)? Do you have two versions of the game currently on your device? Only Android might have problems with that. I'm glad this still doesn't discourage you from enjoying the game. :) I hope starting a new game will fix your issue. If not, please let me know.

2022-02-06 19:01:47 +0000 UTCNo mods that I know of. Still have the prior version installed, and the save files were inherited from that. I was thinking about starting a new game, too, or even reinstalling. Not a big deal, I’m loving this game!

2022-02-06 18:23:10 +0000 UTCThe choices at the cabin don't influence the endings. Only your dark/light path, if you accepted Atia's deal or not, and if you lied to her. But lying to her is the most important one, that's why you should get a choice at the "bad ending" to go back, and do it all over.

I think have a save from an earlier point, so I can see if I'm still getting the same issue starting from there.

2022-02-04 02:37:03 +0000 UTCWhich ending? If you lie to her, you will have different outcomes whether you are on the dark or light path. If you don't lie to her, you will just advance the story and need to wait for the new update. ^^
