Added 2020-12-18 18:51:50 +0000 UTCThose of you who have been with the channel a LONG time may remember the original Lights on a Truck, some of you may have gone back through the catalogue and found it in the years since, but I think it is safe to say that it is none the less one of my lesser known songs.
In spite of it's rather amateurish production it's always been a very special song for me. I actually wrote it another year earlier for xmas 2015 but never did anything with it until a year later. So I'm very happy to finally able to go back and bring the song to a new, wider audience with 4 years more music making experience behind me and the help of all of you here on Patreon.
It only felt right after all the support I've had this year to give something back, so I'm very happy to be supporting Shelter via this song to aid in their fight to end homelessness.

"Amateurish production" my eye! Lights On A Truck has been my favourite Christmas song ever since I discovered this glorious channel back in 2017. It's a wonderful song and still brings me to tears even now.
