I'm about half way through the chapter at the moment. Writing a debrief that focused on lessons learned instead of just being a rehash of everything that happened in the battles was trickier than I expected, especially for such a long-running campaign.
I'll keep working on the chapter next week, and will finish the second half for you soon.

We've gotten used to them as his norm, but those are roughly twice the size of a typical chapter for most writers. Don't get me wrong - I don't like all the placeholders and the slow pace either. But the chapter lengths offset quite a bit of that for me. At least he's still writing. And that's cool.
