1.8.0 is out for Superstars

Hey everyone!

The work on version 2.0 is currently on pause, because I wanted to release an intermediate update so you can enjoy some bonus content while waiting for the big one.

But, what was supposed to be a small update actually turned into a much bigger task than expected. The male shark character had to be postponed to a later update — he required way more work than what was reasonable for the current schedule. And I decided to put more effort on Adanna, the human-like character.

Don’t worry, he will be added to the game later on! This delay actually gives me more time to polish him, add more scenes, more depth, and make sure he’s worth the wait. Meanwhile, I can also keep working on version 2.0, so it keeps going forward.

So, in this update you’ll find two characters: the Lanternfish and Adanna.
You can access them through the giant cannon in the city. Make sure to check your game preferences and configure the cannon properly before launching!

I hope you’ll have fun with these new characters. Don’t hesitate to experiment actions and dialogues with Adanna — there are many ways to enjoy your time with her… or rather, for her to enjoy you. ;)

As usual, this update was very demanding, and I had to work twice as hard to finish it almost on time. I really need to ease up on the workload in the future. This project needs to become fun and creative again, rather than a job that is difficult because I am overworking myself.
This project means a lot to me and I love it, I don't want to give it up.
I will keep you updated on the whole progress.
