Weekly Status Report: 2025/10/05 to 10/11

I am fast approaching the half-mark on laying down assets. I just got past THE most tedious part of editing: explaining the general changes of Ultimate Muscle. That required me to dig through episodes and grab clips.

At end of day last Sunday, I was at 40 minutes in. Right now, I'm at an hour and 17 minutes in, meaning I laid down 37 minutes of assets, which includes many I had to make on the fly plus needing to make "touch-up" re-records here and there. And while I am saving most animations for later, animations that are best done in Premiere Pro I am doing as I go (like basic motion tweens). Yesterday I got through going over the Hercules Factory Arc in one shot since that's only four episodes. DMP Arc should be pretty quick. The 2002 Ultimate Muscle section is just over an hour long, by far the longest section, and given there are only about 20 minutes left, DMP Arc should be over quick. Can't wait to get to talking about Miss Cleo... because she apparently is now a forgotten pop culture relic.

I do need to go back and make a few quick changes based on... MORE new info I just received. I SINCERELY hope there are no huge breakthroughs before I finish, like a dub of Perfect Origin Arc, or I am going to scream bloody murder.

Unfortunately one day this week will need to have time dedicated to upgrading my PC to Windows 11. I was not sure if my motherboard would be able to upgrade. THANKFULLY, with a lot of fiddling around, it can. I just need to reset the CMOS battery, which is apparently a common issue people are facing when their motherboards don't have TPM active by default. But that's a lot of computer jargon... Basically, I don't want my PC to fall behind on security patches, and I don't want to shell out $30 to Microsoft to get new updates.

Will this impact the Kinnikuman video? More than likely not. I HOPE the upgrade is clean and doesn't affect any of my programs, but Windows 11 launched ages ago now, so I imagine any perceivable compatibility issue would be resolved with my main software.

I am going to be streaming Thursday! I am FINALLY getting a Switch 2. I said I'd wait until Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and that day is coming Thursday. Do note I am taking the day off from work that day, and up until the stream it will all be me working on the Kinnikuman video. I will more than likely be at the halfway point come the stream. Will I have a release date? I doubt it, but who knows! I went from dragging to schmooving with editing yesterday because I'm at the Hasty Plot Recap which basically just has me dropping in clips to go over the story, voice actors, and notes. I left off at talking about my favourite characters in the dub: Mac and Doc!

I am still trying to speed up work so this is done ahead of November. I'm sincerely hoping this video performs well.
