Think of Mariah May as a UK version of Tiffanny Stratton but minus the acrobatics

Also, Mike Santana absolutely deserves to be the TNA World Champion. Comparing Joe Hendry to Mike Santana is like comparing Jey Uso to Sami Zayn. Hendry is solid, but he got over primarily because of his personality/gimmick whereas Santana is definitely the more complete professional wrestler. Santana probably won't be as "viral" as Hendry, but he is someone they can trust to have better longevity and build a healthier division around. He might have lost to Trick in this NXT ep, but he is definitely who they have in mind to beat Trick to get the title back to TNA down the line. They protected him in defeat with that interference for a reason. It's like Cody losing the first time to Roman but finishing the story in their next match. Best guess of when is Slammiversary at the end of July which is TNA's biggest event of the year.

Mariah May (or what ever her name will now be in WWE) vs TonI Storm at All In from last year and their "Very Bloody" match at AEW Revolution were fantastic matches. Mariah May is an awesome in ring tallent and thoes to matches with Toni Storm would show that. However, depending on what WWE will allow her to do, like using moves like "Storm Zero" (Storm Zero is a snap version of the Piledriver Mick Foley used on Triple H on the announce table during their 2000 Royal Rumble Street fight)
Unfortunately though, majority of WWE fans including Bunny don't follow AEW or follow them enough to know when WWE sign talent from there and they show up on WWE programing, they don't know who they are and and why the NXT crowd goes pops for them until they see how they work in the ring and how their character fits in with WWE. For this reason is probably why no AEW stars (except Jade Cargill) that signed with WWE never went straight to Raw or Smackdown. Only AEW original talents I could see maybe going straight to main roster rather than going through NXT are MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) Kenny Omega (Kenny Omega and Kota Iibuchi Golden Lovers team form New Japan Pro Wrestling would work well in WWE) Young Bucks, Jack Perry (Jack Perry would work great in Seth Rollins new faction stable :o ) and maybe Dr. Britt Baker. :)
As for AEW talent coming in to WWE, I'd be down to see Sammy Guevarra and Tay Melo, they would work great in NXT :)

The new girl is "The Glamour" Mariah May, formerly from AEW. She's really good, she's only been wrestling for like 5-6 years. Only 26 years old from London. She started out as a fan modeling WWE merchandise, then she got into the UK wrestling scene, then she wrestled for STARDOM in Japan for a couple of years & then she went to AEW to be the 'understudy' of "Timeless" Toni Storm. They had a really good feud too. One of the best things about AEW before I completely stopped watching, because IMHO it's just not good anymore. Can't wait to see what she does in NXT now. I found her match with Toni Storm for the AEW Women's Championship from All In: London last August. You should check it out if you have any extra time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1oeYr_8hWY
