Meeting AKIKO - a quick guide

Before and during Con season we get quite a few questions which events we will visit, if we'd be interested in a photoshoot or if we could consider holding a fan meeting at some point - the general answer would be: It depends. *＾ワ＾

Due to our growing workload, we decided to narrow our Con list down to a few favorites and try to apply as content creators to be able to produce video blogs, meeting you and still have the opportunity to explore the various booths ourselves. Looking at the many possibilities we mainly chose the option of accreditation; a table or booth can be quite restricting for creators, making it nearly impossible to wander around for more than a few minutes. We definitely want to hold meet & greets where we can have more in depth talks with you at some point, too! (＾▽＾)

Now some general information about who, when, where and how!

You will mainly see MC and PC at events as we are the main public representatives for this big project. But there's always the possibility of incognito AKIKO agents keeping an eye on us, other creators and anything interesting in general hehe. (¬‿¬ )

If our ways cross, we're always happy about a brief talk and taking a selfie or two, we love to get to know our community and get feedback on our work, as long as we're not sitting down for a break, eating or in the middle of recording a video. (.❛ ᴗ ❛.) If you're a photographer or videographer, we like your portfolio and have some spare time, a shoot is always welcome. Just keep the following points in mind:

• no personal or inappropriate questions about any AKIKO members

• do not touch our members or any part of the cosplays as we're not a huge fan of physical contact and the outfits can be delicate and difficult to clean

• we do not accept any kind of food or drinks as we don't know the exact ingredients and hygiene and want to prevent any sort of allergic reactions or possible intolerances. Little things like letters or postcards are more than welcome tho (and will be held dearly by the team)!

• please respect our time and your surroundings; we often have a lot on our to-do list and your friends may want to move on as well after some time (meet & greets are an exception of course!)

• if you took photos together with us please send them to us first and do not upload them anywhere else besides instagram, so we can keep them as good memories (＾▽＾)／＼(＾▽＾)

As you may have noticed over time, we don't really announce our presence at a con. That may be a bit uncommon, we know, but it also leads to a nice surprise when someone unexpectedly finds us hehe. Of course this doesn't apply for conventions where we are invited to and are listed as an official creator! (⌒▽⌒)☆

With that being said: if you have any suggestions for artist and creator based conventions that you want us to visit, you are more than welcome to leave us a comment or message so we can look into it, or you can even contact the con organizer and suggest inviting AKIKO! Any event in Germany and the surrounding countries are fairly reachable for us; it'd be amazing to travel to non-EU cons in the future, too, though! \(^ヮ^)/

PS: We are more than happy about you all as our community; our interactions at cons or events have been very pleasant and we got to meet so many lovely people already! Thank you all for being so wholesome and respectful! ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡
