November 2025 - (Ongoing) Patreon/Channel Update

Hey y’all.

First off -- apologies for the hiatus again. I know it’s been a minute since the last update, but I come bearing good news.

For starters -- as you may have already noticed -- “overanalyzing death note | pt 34” dropped a little while ago. And not only that, but I’ve finished writing both Part 35 and Part 36. Which means… we’re really getting close now.

The plan now is to spend this month working on recording/editing Parts 35 and 36, while also working on writing Part 37 here and there. Really, though, I don't imagine I'll do much writing until December -- which'll give me all month to really give this final episode my all.

By the way, as things stand, I’m still planning to post the finale on (or before) January 28th, 2026. That’s been the goal for a while now, and I don't see it changing given where I'm at with things.

Also, I haven’t forgotten about Code Geass. But that one’s still on pause while I wrap up Death Note, but it will definitely be back -- along with what I'm doing with the Death Note manga (I haven't forgotten about that, either).

Anyway, thanks for your patience, your support, and for stickin’ with me through this whole thing. I hope y’all enjoy Part 34, and I'll talk to you all soon.

UPDATES:

November 2 -- I'm mostly gonna stick to writing DN.37 today (the link will take you to the document for anyone who wants to follow along) and maybe tomororw, too. I'm also wanting to get Parts 32, 33, and 34 completely finalized so that I can just be done with them. So right now I'm waiting to get recordings from the Official Overanalyzers who will be doing the intros for those videos, then I'll export and do a final watchthrough, upload them to YT, and then just set them to automatically release throughout November and December.

November 5 -- So, I think DN.37 is actually gonna be longer than I intially thought. Which I don't think is gonna effect the timeline at all, but I'm just surpised with how long it is already with me only being, like, four minutes in. That being said I'm gonna take a break today -- I'm tired from staying up late with the baby the last couple of nights (we're weaning her off of her pacifier and she is NOT a fan). So, I'm gonna be doing final edits on Parts 33 and 34 today since I finished Part 32 on November 3. Anyway, I'll be sure to keep updating things here every couple of days or so.

November 9 -- I admittadley have not gotten much more accomplished this weekend. I had some personal stuff pop up that I had to take care of, but I should be recording the first half of DN.35 tomorrow and then I'll likely either start editing it on Tuesday or finish recording it. I haven't decided yet.

November 13 -- So, i've got about half of the video recorded and I should have the rest recorded by the end of the weekend (probably.) It's my wifes birthday this weekend so I know I'm going to be relatively busy. But, the good news is that my daughter'll be with her grandparents until Thanksgiving, which is going to give me a whole bunch'a time to get caught up on recording and editing. I don't see any reason why I don't have this video done by the end of the month.

November 21 -- Still alive, still working. I thought I had posted on Monday when I uploaded this first draft but it looks like I forgot to do it. Well, since then I've done a bit more -- all of the audio is done but isn't edited yet. I'll probably have all the audio done by tomorrow and I'll be editing all weekend. I'm thinking it'll be done before the end of the month for sure. Still on track for January 28th for the final video, too.

November 24 -- I seem to be... roughly 60% done with the video right now, so I'm making good headway. I'm thinking I should definitley have it done by next Monday, even with the upcoming Holiday.

November 25 -- Oh shit, I actually finished today. I don't know how I managed to power through the rest of the editing that quickly but, somehow I did. Now, I still need to edit the clips from the show (the ones with the audio from the show) and add an updated Patreon outro and get someone to record the intro -- but, outside of that, it's done. I'll probably post it tonight or tomorrow before I head to my parents for Thanksgiving.
