(Sorry for the long text, but I wanted to give a detailed update on everything I've been doing lately π΅βπ«)
I wanted to use this post to give an update on everything related to the Asuka model and my studies.
Right now, I'm finishing a somewhat advanced rigging course, which is why I'm so behind, although I probably won't finish it yet since it's quite extensive. However, I have been able to understand new concepts that I will try to keep in mind for future models. As I mentioned before, I still have a long way to go. Rigging is more extensive than I expected π΅βπ«, so it is taking me longer than usual. In addition, there are many practices with models that I am not used to working with, so it is somewhat more complex for me to adapt to this new methodology π.
Regarding the Asuka model, I haven't been able to work on her rig yet for the reasons mentioned above, although I will probably pick it up again in a few days to finish it. I may keep a rig similar to what I've seen in previous models, since the final methodology is not entirely different from what I'm learning in the course, but it's something I haven't decided yet, as I would like the next model to incorporate everything new I've learned over the past few weeks.
The most complex thing right now is everything related to VR, since the same type of rig is not usually used, so that's one of the problems that still remains, but I'll try to study it once I'm done with everything related to rigging in Blender π΅βπ«
Anyway, I wanted to apologize for being away for so long. I honestly didn't realize how long these studies would take, π but I'm doing everything I can to finish as soon as possible and come back with a more noticeable improvement in quality than in previous months.
