Health and Van Update
Added 2023-08-12 22:34:32 +0000 UTCHello friends! I'm happy to report that I am FINALLY feeling a lot better. Though me and my mom did go to the emergency room on the sixth day, the doctor was not able to diagnose whatever I had. Oh well, I'm just SO grateful to have my health back!!!!!
Now that I'm feeling so much better, my van has (naturally) decided to come down with illness of its own. On my way to what I thought would be a preventative tune up, my Promaster's "ETC" red light came on in addition to an engine light telling me to service my DEF system. If you've been around long enough you'll know what a huge headache my DEF system has been, $3000, multiple parts, weeks in the shop later.... So long story short my van is out of commission for the time being, and I plan on my full return to YouTube once I'm safely back on the road. I'm manifesting a quick and affordable fix but you guys know how these things go, only time will tell... Send my van well wishes and I DEARLY hope to be back to my normal routine soon!

And a reasonable price

Evidently if you get a big enough pickup these days you can get the cummings, but the vans have been almost exclusively Iveco or other Italian engines. Hope they have it fixed and ready for the road.

2023-08-21 16:57:48 +0000 UTCDodge used a Cumings Engine in their truck so if you have a cumings it should run you maybe 1/3 of the cost on parts and even less on the labor. Good choice in equipment on your part! A much easier engine to work on.
