I've been taking boudoir photos of her for nearly twenty years, and her body has changed so much in that time. Even though we both know women's beauty standards are, to say the very least, unreasonable, it's still hard for her because those beauty standards are so deeply ingrained in us. Some days she struggles with the fact that there are curves where there didn't use to be, and other days she loves the curves and feels so sexy with them. I'm generally super reticent to comment on a woman's body, but since you asked, I'll say the same thing to you that I say to her: You have a woman's body, and it's glorious. What you can do with your body is incredible (look at those poses!). For what it's worth, from both of us, you're amazing. A further note from Claire: It's such a complicated thing to live in the public eye, and have your own desires for body positivity and self-love constantly competing with the relentless and impossible beauty standards we see in social media and in society at large. In the face of that, you've got to do whatever is best to protect yourself and your joy in what you do. If that means sometimes posting re-touched photos, pop off, babe. And if it's photos like these, they're incredible too.
