Romancing the Sorceress Part 1

No longer the mildly chubby girl who used to just like dropping her stomach onto guys, she's been steadily gaining weight since the last time we saw her. However, she definitely likes to go on adventures and get herself into trouble and that's precisely what will be happening here.

"It's not often that I get to go on a good hike," Mary said to herself, "Even less frequent that I get to do it without douchebags staring at me the whole time." The trail Mary had gone to for her hike was an old one that had never really gotten any kind of modern facelift. It was situated in the Molligeheks Woods which sprawled through the hills near Mary's home. One of the reasons the trail had been mostly forgotten was due to the rumors that over the years there had been many travelers who went onto the trail and never came back. However, there had been no confirmed cases of anyone going missing in over 30 years. Mary genuinely had no knowledge that anyone had ever gone missing on the trail, so it had never even crossed her mind that something dangerous might be lurking out there. She had good cell reception and total confidence that she would be fine.
About a half mile in to her walk, she found a wonderful little creek. She stretched and looked around, taking in all the beauty of the area around her. Now this is a hidden gem, she thought. As she was stretching, she heard a strange "fwoosh" sound coming from behind a large hill that wasn't too far off the trail. It sounded as though it could have been a large animal prancing through the bushes. While she wasn't familiar with the rumors of people disappearing in these woods, she was very familiar with the rumors of the friendly yet absurdly chonky deer that had supposedly been seen around here before. She went over to investigate.
