Everything really is all bad and getting worse.

As soon as I got back from my break; and was ready to work. My main tablet wasn't working.

So I had to ship my 2500$ wacom tablet back to fix a simple usb 3.0 hub not working. (without it doesn't work as screen tablet)

So I got to UPS, and order their gaudy expensive 140$ express shipping to send it there as soon as possible.

Express very clearly it's expensive, it's my livelyhood, and it's fragile. "Wrap it in 10 layers of bubble wrap please"

I now get photos from Wacom showing it's in a small box, with half a layer of bubblewrap around it. And the tablet has been destroyed in transit. Now instead of a 350$ repair. I'm getting charged a 1500-1700$ repair.

Legit first time I had to ship something expensive. And I've experienced the worst case scenario immediately.

I'm about to crash out again.

Everything really is all bad and getting worse. Everything really is all bad and getting worse.

You should have watched them wrap it. For $140 it's definitely insured and they will be paying for that.

wtf if you paid so much I assume you paid insurance for it as well. You need to file an insurance claim with the store you brought it to because if you had them package it for you then its their responsibility if it's been damaged.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Hopefully this can ease the mind, at least a little. If you paid expensive shipping, it likely included insurance. You can file a claim with UPS who will reimburse the cost of the damaged item in full with whatever value had been declared when the shipping was paid for. (That is usually why shipping is so expensive) They might fuss, pretend their hands are tied and be extra-picky with the requirement process to file the claim, or redirect you. But they pay.
