Hiatus (?)

Hi all.  I've been thinking about things off an on for a while, and I've realized that I just can't keep up with the Patreon these days the way I feel like I should.  So...I think I'm going to take a hiatus from Patreon at least.  Will I return?  Not sure.

My general plan is to pause the February billing cycle (already done), and leave the site up for February, and then probably take it offline.

My hope is actually that I'll still produce some stuff (for my entertainment, if nothing else).  One of the costs of trying to maintain this as a sort-of-business-but-really-a-hobby (where, as noted, I very much am paying out more than I'm taking in) is that it's tired me out for the actual creation part.  Add in some real life stuff that has also taken the wind out of me, and I find that most of the little time I have that I might spend writing, I end up trying to get things ready for here (or feeling bad that I'm not).

I may still post some comics and such (I have a couple issues of Omni Patrol that are sitting out there, and I haven't actually packaged up the first few issues).  If I do, those will get announced on twitter once the Patreon is offline, and probably covers posted to Hentai Foundry.  Maybe I'll finally finish a couple of stories, ironically!  (Both the stories and the finishing of them, perhaps...)

(I will say - one of the things that I've wrestled with is that I kind of like sharing my stuff...but don't like the feeling of responsibility that comes with the Patreon.  And I kind of like having a little help from other folks footing the bill - but also don't want to obligate everyone to do that either.  I've been trying to come up with a way to balance all of that, and just haven't yet.  One idea is that I may open up a purely volunteer SubscribeStar Page and then post to Hentai Foundry - would also welcome other suggestions.)

As always, I reserve the right to change gears, but - I think it is likely to at least be a very long pause, if not more permanent.  Thank you for all of your support (and on behalf of the artists the money goes to in particular).
