LAST SCENE IS DONE HAHAHAHA
Added 2022-05-01 01:05:12 +0000 UTCWell, 99% done - I'm not entirely happy with a couple tiny things like the lip syncs, but I'll take care of that tonight and tomorrow. I wanted to get this to you for the end of the month so you guys got your money's worth.
Anyway, that's the final scene - Retsuko is back to normal, Retsmom is on the prowl, and Chitashi is deceased. This scene really shows off the great voicework of Iris Harman as Retsuko and LalaLexxiVA as her mom.
Here's what's left to do:
-the end credits. I'm gonna take some of the prior scenes, make them slow-motion and monochrome, add some effects, and try to imitate what the show does for those "time for the truth about Retsuko" songs. Shouldn't be too bad.
-the video effects. I'm gonna play around with After Effects to see how I can best imitate some of the visual effects they use on the show, specifically for the rage scenes.
-the audio. The sex needs sound effects. I'm gonna go over all of the Retsuko screams and finally get to the bottom of how to best imitate the screams from the show. This is gonna require playing with the pitch, plus echo and distortion effects. I've tried a bunch of different half-baked combos in the past and I haven't loved any of them tbh, but devoting an afternoon to it should yield some good results.
After all that, we'll be ready to roll :) I can't thank everyone enough for their support and patience, and I really hope this thing lives up to your expectations.
