This is how different the bodies (and skeletons) of Ada and Ashley are. Because of this, direct porting of Ashley's mods is impossible. For example, the bodies of Claire and Jill from RE 2-3 are completely identical. Therefore, porting mods did not affect the animation in cutscenes. Ashley and Ada (and Leon) have this problem. They have different body types and different arm and leg lengths, so Ada's animation doesn't suit Ashley. I solved this problem partially - I replaced Ada's skeleton with Ashley's skeleton. The mod works correctly in the game, but in cutscenes the weapon sometimes “flies”. This happens, as I wrote above, due to different skeletons, because Ada’s animation was created for Ada’s skeleton.
Is it possible to solve this problem? There are ways. Now I'm trying to create a new skeleton for Ada that will work in cutscenes. There is nothing to please us with yet, but work is underway. If this method doesn't work, then I'll go back to the classics - I'll make a new mod for Ada. I'll have to forget about the quick port, but the Ada mod will be 100% functional. That's it.
