Discord launched
Added 2024-05-01 15:44:41 +0000 UTCPatreon members at any paid tier now have access to the slowly growing discord archive.
Just a few quick points about the discord: It's an archive. It's incomplete currently. Discuss your tier benefits with me in DMs not in the general channels. I'm not eager to manage it, so don't make that a whole thing or I'll be forced to shut it down.
I'll open up general admission at a later date once this has stabilized a bit.

Neocities may be a good option for website building for a longer term option. Their clause in terms about explicit content is "you acknowledge it might be here and access it at your own risk."

2024-05-01 21:49:05 +0000 UTCFortunately, I'm not using it to host images for external links. This is just a browseable archive. Now, as for how long it will last is a big ???. I'm not keen on setting up an archive website but that may be the inevitable conclusion.
Negative Inspiration
2024-05-01 21:45:00 +0000 UTCfair warning, but discord the company said to not use their services as data storage, because they don't like the sheer amount of people using discord as a file hosting service to distribute malware, so currently any links to files and images will expire after 24 hours and theoretically data that has been on their service for more 2 years will be deleted due to EU data privacy laws.
