Sign of Life and other topics

Sorry for my absence-- I've had a couple friends seek me, concerned that I might be having troubles.  I assure you I'm fine.  Real life put me on the road for most of September thus far, but I've also been waiting to swoop back with a download link for the SoW release.

That hasn't happened.  In fact, MiNT and I have been having pretty serious conversations regarding project status.  At this stage, I've asked for a "do or die" release date.  If this is unacceptable or there's another failure to deliver, we'll discuss alternatives to get game release out.  I expect to hear back from him within the next 24 hours and as soon as I know something, I will share it with you at once.

I have been busy working on Company Man content.  At this point, I'm thinking that working on a novelisation along the lines of the Earthly Masters treatment makes sense.  I can use the existing game work and have begun to supplement it with multimedia elements as well.  I am working on the Prologue now and will share it, along with images/vids developed for game/novel, here in the next couple days.  While I can't directly affect development/coding, I can at least provide narrative content to fans they might enjoy.  Just to confirm, I am committed to the Company Man game as well but need to resolve SoW first.

On a personal note, I take full responsibility for the failure to produce a timely delivery of SoW.  It reflects poor judgement on my part-- I let things drift in the wrong direction far too long.  To those fans who have lost patience, I promise to get you the game regardless of whether or not you choose to continue your support or not.  Just get in touch when the release time comes-- as far as I am concerned, you have 'paid' for the game already.  I apologise for my failure and can only say I have learned from my project management mistakes and from this point on, I will proceed much differently that before now.

I think I understand you. You have a real life to manage, and you trusted somebody to deliver something, while you did your part. And you wrote a 300 page novel, so you actually really did your part. So, your management wasn´t perfect here, but I still believe you committed time and energy for the project. As long as the game will come out eventually, you can start anew with the next project. We all make mistakes in life, some costlier than others. You will get over this.

Any word on Rent Control? There was a pre-release a while back, but I've heard nothing since.
