Tinsel Town v1.0.1 “Green Light” Game for Execs
Added 2025-05-30 21:00:06 +0000 UTC“Green Light” builds off of the original demo version of the game. It allows a Player to begin establishing their entertainment empire by introducing new Funds and Prestige resources that represent serious money and reputation respectively. The game now offers:
40+ Map Locations to explore
12 Movie Projects to complete
40+ NPCs to interact with
Hundreds of events and many decisions to make
New voiceover, video, trophies and Player achievements
New hidden logic implemented to guide events for enhanced player experience
In addition, the Player can now pursue a personal relationship with industry colleague Cheryl Ross, as well as decide what kind of relationship this will be. The Player can also start to recruit help in building their studio with various industry services. The Player can enhance their Charisma, Strength and Intelligence through various opportunities and will use these attributes in helping meet challenges and take advantage of business and personal opportunities. Most importantly, the Player now has the opportunity to produce mainstream movies, with alternate paths depending on how the Player decides to proceed.
A new ‘hidden’ logic dynamic has now been built into the game to allow for different paths opening up, depending on Player preferences. This will allow the Player to make choices leading to very different outcomes and is a departure from more linear storylines. It is an exciting addition that will allow for more variety in potential outcomes.
“Green Light” establishes a solid foundation for future growth by providing the Player with multiple future paths to explore and future decisions to make, as well as an associate to help you grow your studio with. It advances the storyline well into the middle of the Early Game. I wanted to add more voiceover content but decided it was more important to get the release out sooner than later (I will return to existing scenes and drop in VO for the next release).
While you can drop in an existing save from the demo, I STRONGLY advise you to make a clean start. The intro has been reworked and so your save might not work properly.

Yes you can train Charisma by going to the Sandpiper and working the crowd. It takes longer because you only do it once every seven turns.
