September 2025 summary
Added 2025-10-08 15:06:29 +0000 UTCTime to sum up another month again. Honestly there's nothing much to summarize but still, tradition is a tradition.
The month started off nicely with another vibrant 90s style Mark artwork and then I got stuck working on a big commission sequence with Kyle from Lunar: Silver Star Story for the rest of September, leaving all my other art plans behind again. And even worse, this time I left my patrons without updates for this whole time instead of posting sequence parts one by one the way I usually do.
Overall, this sequence was a big amount of work and together with Mark piece it feels like not the most content lacking month of all but still I think I could do a lot more and finish this sequence a lot faster, I planned to do much more stuff in September and it's sad that my plans failed again. It's especially aggravating that I have this long tail of unfinished sequences dragging behind me which only keeps growing.
There also was another small reason why I did less art than I could but it's a very small reason so it doesn't really count, just little side news.
I got hired by my friend to help him with his indie game! I don't know how many of you know Dawmino but he is a very good artist who does awesome kinky art, all these years I was friends with his roommate Alex the Rubikang whose character is often seen among Dawmino's artworks. Alex was one of my very first fandom friends and I always enjoyed sharing stuff with him including my pixel art and game assets. Dawmino (whom I never dared to contact directly until recently) liked them a lot and thought I can help him with his project. Currently he is working on a game called Grabus and he struggled with architecture design.

Honestly architecture design is not my strong side either but I tried it and he liked the results a lot saying it looks exactly like what he imagined.

Here's first 10 buildings I made for him so far.
So now I have some other well paid work to do besides kinky commissions. But, as I said, it wasn't a big distraction, it took me only about 2 days to do so it's not something I can blame my low productivity on. It's nice to know that somebody found my pixel art skills useful for something big like this, especially when it's an artist of such level like Dawmino. There's a lot more buildings for me to do and I also agreed to help him with translating all the game's text to Russian but it all shouldn't take much time.
Anyway, now it's Spooktober and I have to focus on some thematic stuff. With all honesty, I'm less in a Halloween mood this year compared to more hyped up previous Spooktober seasons, my brain is focused on anything but Halloween and all the most horny ideas I'd rather work on right now are not spooky themed but still there's few relevant things I can pull out for this occasion and as you can see I'm already on it with the ghost stuff.
Thanks to everybody supporting me, despite another month with a noticeable productivity issue, the amount I earned in September was no worse than August, your devotion is heartwarming and helps to ease down my never ending anxiety caused by how little art I do. Hope you have a good Halloween season, I'll do my best to enhance the mood with my art as much as I can.
