It took me surprisingly long to finish despite I started this artwork in October 31 so now it's embarrassingly late for such a straightforwardly Halloween themed thing but whatever, I know people post Halloween artworks even later sometimes.
Normally I'd just cancel this idea sitting in my head for a month but I just got a bit anxious waiting for my latest commission to be finally confirmed for publishing, I wasn't sure if I'll be able to post it in time and started this one just in case, hoping that I finish and post it instead. But commissioner responded in the very last moment and I managed to post the piece in time, meanwhile this piece was already started and I didn't want to left it unfinished. However, finishing it stretched for 5 days despite it didn't feel like a big work.
I wanted keep up with my tradition of drawing OC art for special holidays and I got a good idea based on a good old pumpkin TF concept which inflation lovers so much like to exploit for Halloween, I already did it one year ago with my Halloween commission for Esher, now it's time to try it out in a more classic way with my characters. Plus, as you could notice, this artwork serves as a little send off to my previous OC Halloween piece with Mark wearing the same pharaoh costume, I just think it suits him so well and it was too tempting to draw all the bandages stretching over his inflated body. As for Zed, with all honesty, even though I thought that Frankenstein monster look suits him well, it turned out a bit odd and I decided to try something else for him this time. I came up with a scary clown costume idea which later became more Pennywise-esque.
It turned out pretty good, almost the way I imagined it, and I enjoyed doing all the horny editing a lot as well. Speaking of which, I decided to not go over the top with it and just did one extreme dirty fart edit with a couple alterations featuring stretchmarks, text and clean versions without them.
It was a nice little piece to add to my library of OC art, especially considering there's still very little of properly shaded ones compared to pixel art and a good one for the library of more classic Halloween pieces. There's still some unfinished creepy stuff from October I need to take care of but now I feel like the main pinnacle of Halloween art season is already behind.
