"Oh, the Sweaty Horrors" + small concept art

Esher gave me a generous donation which really helped me out, so I just had to pay him back for saving me from starving death by making something really nice. I never did any pixel art for him and decided it's time to do it. I chose my favorite NES graphics as usual and tried my best to fit into 256 tile limit, used it to the max. Nothing special, just good old creepy (and sweaty) Esher stuff, everything the way he likes.

Also, since I'm sharing pixel art anyway, I wanted to show one quick random thing I did several days ago as well. Nothing special, just a quick experiment.

I looked through my pixel concepts and saw my OCs drawn as Atari sprites again. Above are Atari 2600 console sprites and below are versions for Atari 8-bit computers which were a bit more advanced than their console ancestor. Not sure if this is 100% legit as I know Atari graphics not as good as NES, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 or Apple II but I can assume that it is.
I actually don't remember if I shared these concepts here or not, I could dismiss it as something too simple to share.
Seeing these concepts reminded me of my thoughts about a game inside the game. You know, when there's a cartoon inside a cartoon, the inside one is often done overly primitive on purpose to make actual cartoon look like a more real world in a contrast. I thought it would be interesting to see something like this in a game as well and Atari is one of the easiest to imitate.
So, all I did is quickly put Zed and Mark sprites in NAW and drew an old TV set frame, I think it turned out lovely and can be used for something in future but I shouldn't think too much about it, for now I'm trying to focus mainly on drawing stuff for my main game project.

P.S. If you look closely you'll see that this little plate in a bottom left corner underneath the TV screen says BR Games which is the name I'm planning to release my games under if I ever make any. This is a little send off to game companies putting their logos in games as inside brands, similar to Konami TV in Monsters in My Pockets or the giant Nintendo Entertainment System console in Tom & Jerry. Talk about product placement!
