New pixel art materials of the month

As I said in a previous post, I was "actively" fighting my procrastination through pixel art a lot this month, again. Actively in quotes because of all possible times December is the worst time to chose for random stuff that could be done anytime while I had actual deadlines to meet with thematic Christmas art, so it's not the best way to fight procrastination but still better do at least something than nothing at all.

As you can probably tell, I'm getting back to my Tricky Dicky Adventures side project which is not very much of a "side" so far with how much I did for it already.
I suddently got an idea for an interesting final boss and just couldn't resist the urge to let it out.
If you remember my previous materials for this project, there were several worlds with their visuals all revolving around funny sexual symbolism as a leitmotif, mainly phallic, yet every each had its own non-sexual theme like sci-fi, cyber punk, horror, mushroom forest etc. In a contrast, I wanted the final world to be way more bold and devoid of any ambiguity, a straightforward embodiment of everything that was expressed just vaguely in all previous worlds, just pure feast of flesh and nothing else, something where just slightly freaky dirty humor crosses the boundaries of a really unsettling body horror. And such world needed a fitting boss of course.

This is how Dick Cummings was born (very clever name, I know), a shape shifting embodiment of lust who enjoys toying with boys by trapping them in his dimension. This is pretty much what happened to Zed in this story. Initially the premise was just about Zed falling asleep while reading dirty magazines after watching lots of horror movies and this twisted mix gave life to some really weird dreams we have to travel through but Dick Cummings idea made it more than this simple "It all was just a dream" trope.

I wanted to create a character which facial features would combine handsomeness with some Tex Averian feel, I'd even say a gentleman look, uncanniness and downright grotesquely perverse look and I think I succeeded with this. It's funny how I never managed to play around with snout-dick fetish in my art up until now and my first attempt is a character for which it's actually a part of his nature. And, as I said, he is a shape shifting being which opens a lot of opportunities for different possible anatomy play concepts and considering I fell in love with this guy pretty deeply I think I'm gonna have fun drawing him in future outside pixel art.

The big detailed head concept was actually drawn first, somehow I managed to fit it into 128 unique tiles (half of a tileset, as I planned) but he also needed full body first phase as well and this was the next thing I did. The plot twist is that the flesh cave you're travelling through turns out to be Cummings' body, even though I imagine him being able to take shape of a regular bipedal humanoid because it would be too boring for him to be forever stuck on top of that meat pile I thought he can take this form whenever he wants as well.

I really liked the final result with unique elements and repeating textures being balanced pretty well. And yeah, multi tits are gonna be a common default feature for Dick as well, it's not one of those kinks I'm straight up crazy about but I thought it fits him well.

Head image is also the only new concept that I managed to convert into .nes file through NAW and test on emulator, all other things were finished too recently and need time to be tried out this way.

After this I felt tempted to actually start drawing flesh cave assets, mainly just all kinds of enlarged sexy body parts all mixed together. Just like all my asset sheets, this one has some drafts I'm not gonna use but about 90% is all useful. I'm especially proud of a big torso on the right, interestingly enough it was all formed with already existing tiles taken from graphics for ass, feet and some other stuff, only few elements were drawn especially for it like nipples and belly glares.
This asset sheet grew surprisingly fast, I'd say it's 60-70% finished. I can't wait to asemble some layout samples with it but for now I better put it off for later and focus on regular art.

And yeah, I even made a couple of silly enemy concepts despite I'm trying to not even tempt myself with drawing enemies for this project for now.

Another concept I was drawing in parallel with flesh cave assets is a spider-wolf boss you see on picture three, probably for the forest level. I was thinking about spider-wolf character concept for a long time, I was surprised to see a ton of such hybrid OCs on Furaffinity but they all are mostly too realistic and horror-esque or cute in a somewhat more modern anthro furry way while I wanted to see some really old-school cartoony character which looks like something between those black fuzzy spiders from golden era cartoons and Disney's Big Bad Wolf. The NES concept turned different from what I imagined, it's a bit tough to put it in NES graphics so it's more like a loose adaptation of my idea but still he looks pretty hot. This is also WIP and I still need to polish it better, mainly his legs, drawing him was just a random urge and I did it all in one sitting, still not even sure how many free unique tiles I have left to give him more detail.

The last image is only a part of what I did with the old sheet of horror level assets. It was already posted here before but it grew a little bit recently.

There's just few little new things I added, coffin, spikey ball, chandelier and of course these animated bloody falls from the gif above I also did bigger stone cocks for. Just in general I also spent a lot of time organizing all the assets between graphic banks in a more logical and most efficient way, this sheet is also not 100% complete so I'll start rendering level layout samples later when it's all ready.

That's all, NOW I actually shared everything I did in December. It all was surely fun and I'm happy to create myself a new OC but any fun should have its limits. There's characters I have passion for and I need to unleash it, comms I need to do for the same reason and also for the sake of survival as well and also I have responsibilities for you as my subscribers and these should not be ignored, so I hope that the recent surge of productivity with Leroy artwork was actually a sign of my burn out fading away.

Ahahah, that's what happens when a very horny person who dedicated half of his life to making horror art and surrealism suddenly becomes an nsfw furry artist! I really love blending creepy and sexy together and it's always a joy to see others sharing my excitement as well! <3 It also reminded me of a 1989 movie Society but if it was openly pornographic, gay and furry (even though the last one is not much presented in these concepts lol)

The idea of a monster that is an amalgamation of butts, guts, pecs and anuses is... Doing something for me. Like, the body horror fan in me thinks it could be an incredibly gross, terrifying concept. But the perv in me just... Hnngg... HOW is your art so good at blurring that line?!
