Milton Erickson, Torah Study, Intimacy, and Ritual Walk into a Bar…: Those following me on Twitter may know I've been neck-deep in Jewish text study spaces for the past year or so, and I was talking about writing an article that explores some overlaps I've found between that and hypnosis, leading through a journey on frameworks about ritual and intimacy. This will be a personal essay of lightbulb moments and intellectual connections. NOTE: This essay may eventually be made public in some form.
Deep Metaphor: I recently wrote a Twitter thread about how we can find very interesting ways to hypnotize people by thinking philosophically about objects and concepts. This article will explore ways to think in this different way and then how to translate that to doing hypnosis and making complex suggestions.
