And it was very much unashamedly selling itself on having the legendary vampire Carmilla seduce a lot of young, impressionable countesses. I definitely watched this one for the plot...

2024-11-05 14:02:17 +0000 UTCThe Vampire Lovers is my FAVORITE Hammer film!!! Ingrid Pitt is magnificent in it and I really don't feel like she was the villain in that movie. Just a lonely vampiress who didn't want to be alone. My favorite moment is when she's caught in the act at the top of the stairs, the expression on her face. . . damn, I need to watch that again!
