Anyway, apart from being sexy and fun, a lot of this illustration involved experimenting. I had been trying to shade with harder edges, and I like how that's working out, but I need to get better at blending the colors and shadows when I want to blend them. That said, I like how sketchy this feels. I just need to make sure it's more intentional to make the picture more lively and vibrant and not just being lazy about fixing problems.

Incidentally, if you want a good Beach Volleyball anime, I recommend "Harukana Receive" as someone who loves beach volleyball, I thought it was great. Looking at all the old works of my own that I haven't finished due to colouring taking so long; I'm also looking for a balanced colouring process that gives me results I can live with, but without taking an absurd amount of time.
