Source Materials (petrification)

"Oh, we're taking good care of her. Besides, a baseline is important for all kinds of scientific experiments."

(full pic in the attachments)

In retrospect, this art probably would've read better as amber encasement, like in the Jurassic Park movie, if the shape was more rocky and jagged. Instead, it kinda reads like an egg or something. Which, ya know, I think some people also thought was a good idea too. If that's the way you prefer to see it, feel free!

Weird reference, but I’m reminded of House of Ashes where they find a preservation goo that can keep what ever it’s covered alive and locked in time, ie if you covered a car with it, the lights would still work underneath while anything not covered would still rust away.

"Oh, and don't worry about storage afterward. As soon as we get the Miniaturization Ray back up and running, I plan on making her the topper for my new cane."

I always like seeing your petrification, transformation, and peril pics!

MidnaMajora

Nah, she wouldn't be relegated to a shelf. Something that pretty deserves to be on a pedestal in the middle of the room.

Mark

Hard to keep it on your shelf though…

Psudonym

Pretty cool.

This immediately came to mind following the previous pic. Jurassic park is so iconic for me that I think the round shape and yellow/orange is super recognizable as amber.

Feels like a pod from Matrix to me

Kind of reads like the amber was cut and polished so that when she’s not being used as a test subject, she makes a more aesthetically appealing display piece.
