Material Studies 001

I really like my current process, and it allows me to apply colors very quickly and in a method that feels natural to me. I wanted to apply that to some real studies, and I just drew some objects I had available near my desk.
I'm beginning to enjoy apples again! Technically I'm slightly allergic to them but nowhere near deathly allergic or anything. I just get a little itchy, but they are tasty. I'm discovering they are really nice in the late part of the year.

I usually could only eat the green ones (with out the throat itch) but I discovered then that the yellow ones was de culprit (most red ones has some yellow in it too). But nowadays I seems to be able to eat of any colour.

Which is a shame cause I think if more artists posted these studies more often, then perhaps the younger artists would recognize the importance of spending some time doing these. Hmm, perhaps I'll do some material studies too. . . . like boobs made out of different materials. Plastic boobs, plant boobs, tree bark boobs, wood boobs, glass boobs, crystal boobs, rubber boobs, concrete boobs, asphalt boobs, cloud boobs, metal boobs, cardboard boobs, paper boobs, linoleum boobs, styrofoam boobs, water boobs, leather boobs, cloth boobs, denim boobs, eyeball boobs, teeth boobs. . .
