I don't know how much I actually like this piece. I think the rendering is quite cool but I don't think I have the strongest attachment to the composition or the idea. It just seemed neat, as an exercise in rendering. Still, kinda a cool piece for the year of the snake.

I tend to like uh… physically working with subtle gradients and then using adjustment layers to push the contrast to where it reads better. But I haven’t done that latter stuff on this image yet. I think I just wasn’t sure I was liking the drawing enough to spend too much more time on it.
