Hey, so uh, there's a bunch of Yasmina sketches this week, and it's getting to the point where people have brought up the very good question, "Well, why not just turn it into an OC already?" And honestly, I've considered it. That tends to make things easier, especially when it comes to comfort with drawing and posting pinup stuff. I can also put her in a different setting with a different background that better fits a pinup character. But I think what's different about this instance is that... well, I like dinosaurs and the setting a good deal. I'll honestly have to give it more thought, though. Like... what would I even name her? What would the changes be like?
Anyway, these are just some thoughts I'll consider. I doubt my hyper fixation on drawing fit girls with long pony tails running from dinosaurs is over.

Tough call. I can get being uncomfortable with continuing to use an existing character, especially as time goes on. There's definitely a freedom from using your own OC. Of course, you could also risk losing the "spark" that made you fall in love with the character in the first place. I'd lean on creating a similar character, if only because I think that would allow more freedom to put your own spin on things, or to avoid potential uncomfortableness for using an existing IP for lewd drawings. But I think ultimately it should probably be whatever your think would inspire you the most!
