"There's a place where distance and the definition of things get hazy. It's a black lake underneath a sky full of lazily drifting spots of white. They might be stars. It's hard to tell how close they are to you. All sounds are muffled there, like on a day with gently falling snow, even the sounds in your head. I think some of our anomalies come here to relax."
