Yeah I really do like K-pop Demon Hunters. It's been a little bit since something has wormed it's way into my head to this degree. I dunno if I'll be making a LOT of fan art or oc art for it cause a whole lot of it is outside of my expertise, but I'm sure to have fun with it some more.

But beyond the fun art and music, I found the story really touching. It shares its moral very vividly, and even though it telegraphs what the story is about and the beats with spotlights, it doesn't make it any less of an exciting ride. It's also a little smarter than it lets on, with a few sincere nods to Buddhist teachings, which provide a refreshing angle on our hero's journey.

If you've got time this weekend and haven't seen it, please do. I may end up drawing a lot more, too. Have a good one guys!

I'm not even a fan of kpop at all, but I saw the art style from a reel on some social media and had to see it cause the art style was so interesting to me. Then after watching it I was floored with how much I actually like it. The music bangs for the most part, im not a huge fan of any of the Saja boys songs, and the animation was so stylized and fresh.

I really want to like this movie, but I just can't do the whole "variable frame rate animation" thing. It makes me motion sick. I can deal with low frame rates. I watch anime all the time. What I can't deal with is constant, rapid shifting of the frame rate of the characters on screen while the camera stays constant and smooth. It really throws me for a loop, and I don't know why.
