"Skin of Evil" Reference (horror art)

I based this drawing on the episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation "Skin of Evil," from a scene where Commander Riker is engulfed by a tar like creature made of pure evil. Don't worry, he came out fine. The same can't be said of another crew member, however...
This image came out rather spooky, as intended, so I cropped it and put it in the attachments below. But honestly, it was safe enough for network television in the 80s, I bet it's safe enough for the internet, all things considered.
