Special Promotion - The End

WOW! It's been over a year of Special Promotion! I hope you liked it as much as I did! This final chapter had some retrospection in it, but how do we end a story without looking at where we started?

Thank you all for taking this journey with me, and do let me know what you think of it <3

---

Three hundred and sixty five days. In three hundred and sixty five days the trajectory of a life can change so drastically as to be unrecognisable to one’s former self. It was a lesson Jenny hadn’t really learned, not even as she watched Katie blow up from a chubby fennec fox to a massive balloon of a vixen who could no longer walk. Her days transitioned from work and working out to mindless gorging on donuts, specially tailored for her exact tastes, desires and caloric needs. In less than a year she had transformed, no longer the fennec she had once been, and though Jenny had watched it all from behind the safety of cameras, she had never truly appreciated the gravity of the situation. Katie was an outlier. A natural pig. Clearly she had to be or else she wouldn’t have taken so quickly to the donuts, right?

A year ago Jenny had stood, checking her clipboard and looking over Katie’s stats - her dramatically climbing weight contrasting with her perfect health record. She had worn a work shirt and pants which hugged her slender frame closely and she had looked at Katie, but she certainly hadn’t seen her. She hadn’t felt the addiction running through the vixen, hadn’t tasted the donuts, experienced the sheer bliss of expansion. To Jenny, Katie was a pig and the mascot program was exactly where she deserved to be.

Just one year ago.

She could still remember the first time she actually tasted one of Sifton’s donuts. Not just the stuff they throw out to the public, but the ones scientifically formulated for perfection. It was like a mini-nova was going off in Jenny’s mouth. She didn’t know food could taste that good. Like everything else was black and white but this? This was food. This was the world in colour. She could remember how tight her stomach felt after her shift, packed to the absolute brim and forming a gravid bulge in front of her. She remembered afternoons spent jogging in the local park, trying to shift some, any of the pounds that she’d managed to gain. All so she could go back to her job taste testing and lose herself in the flavours again. Nobody else worked taste testing at the facility she did, at the time Jenny never found that odd but in retrospect, it kind of was. It certainly explained the sheer volume she went through, but why was she the only one forced to choose between her job and her waistline? Was it punishment?

Did it matter?

Addiction came fast when she let it. Finally shifting to working from home, Jenny had been surprised to find daily deliveries of donuts waiting for her. She could have ignored them, but she wanted them. Ignoring them was never really a choice. It barely occurred to her. Of course, productivity slipped when her fingers were perpetually coated in a mix of her own saliva and the delicious donut icing, but who could blame her? It had been impossible to concentrate back then, impossible to think about work while another box of donuts sat ready for her, still warm from when they were baked that morning. Thinking back on those months, what happened next must have been somewhat inevitable. Of course her weight would skyrocket and her job performance would plummet. What Jenny couldn’t have realised was coming, in retrospect, was Diane.

Diane. Office rival, complete suckup and kind of a bitch. That’s what Jenny thought at the time. Diane had used every trick in the book and then some to get where she was - it wasn’t that she wasn’t talented or smart, she just also knew how to play people. She could dodge blame, get on the right side of management, everything that Jenny told herself she was better than. Diane. She had infuriated Jenny countless times, the mouse thought there was no love lost between them, that it would be Diane’s deepest wish to see her gorge herself on donuts until she was out of the race. Out of the office.

But then the rabbit showed up one day. Things went entirely differently. Sure Jenny had been mortified to be seen several times the weight she had once been, but Diane hadn’t maliciously relished in the mouse’s downfall. Instead she fed Jenny. They shared something. There was a fondness that Jenny hadn’t known existed behind the rabbit’s dominating veneer. In retrospect, that was probably the point of no return. How could Jenny return to normality when being with Diane felt so right? The feeding left her panting and gasping for more, stuffed so tight she thought she would explode, but it was more than that. It was the undercurrent of affection that flowed between them which drew her to the rabbit.

As things came to a head, as her weight skyrocketed and her abilities working from home dwindled, Jenny had found herself at a crossroads that really, wasn’t a crossroads. Mr Moon offered her the position of mascot, the chance to be right next to Katie, or in a restaurant of her own. She would be surrounded by loving admirers who would feed her and tend to her every need, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. And yet she would be advertising material, an object, no longer a person with her own capabilities but a mound of fat to be exploited for profit. The thought excited her beyond reason. All those strangers? Former friends coming to check in on her, the transformation into the same pig Katie became so utterly complete. It made her dizzy just to think about. But then there was the other path. Diane so dominantly asserting that Jenny didn’t want to be a mascot, she wanted to come home with Diane. She wanted to be Diane’s pet. Looking back on things, how could she ever have said no? How could there have been any question of a choice at all?

She belonged with Diane.

And it was with Diane that she finished out the year. Finished her transformation from slender corporate worker to massively obese pet. In some ways, she couldn’t be prouder. Of course, when she looks in the mirror and sees herself, Jenny is dutifully mortified. There has to be some embarrassment when she thinks about what she’s let herself become, if there wasn’t, it wouldn’t be nearly so fun. But it is fun, and ever so continues to be.

Jenny’s ears twitch, perhaps the most slender part of her these days, as she hears her girlfriend’s footsteps. Diane walks back in from the direction of her bedroom, dressed in her work clothes minus the tie. She looks exhausted from another day of corporate nothingness, at least until her eyes meet Jenny’s. A smile parts her lips and Jenny thinks about how utterly adorable her large front teeth are.

“Comfortable, pet?” She asks, walking towards Jenny.

“Always,” Jenny replies with a chuckle. After the couch broke, Diane removed all the wooden parts but left the cushions - something about signs of past conquests. Well now those cushions made a comfortable little nest for Jenny to lay on. At least, for part of her to lay on.

“You better share some of that comfort with me, that’s where half my paycheck goes, anyway.” Diane’s voice was soft and playful as she approached. She leaned over and a finger brushed gently against Jenny’s cheek. Jenny was so large these days her cheeks encroached upon her vision but she didn’t mind so much. Everything was so sensitive that even that motion on her stretched skin made her feel so very good.

Jenny couldn’t stand up, she couldn’t reposition if she wanted to. She had been immobile for a month or so now and although she’d had trouble getting used to it at first, times like this more than made up for it. She was the couch now, and the thought both embarrassed and aroused her.

Diane could see the blush forming on her cheeks and the rabbit’s smile deepened. “You’re thinking about how you broke the couch again.” She said.

“How did you know?” Diane had a habit of reading Jenny’s mind, it perplexed her.

“You think about it a lot.” The rabbit replied with a smile. “It’s okay.” She said, and gently climbed up the side of her girlfriend and pet. Diane had become very good at that, she could find the easiest parts of Jenny’s blubber to climb and the rabbit’s slight weight made it easy not to slide off. “This is much more comfortable than the couch was. Right pet?”

Jenny gave a little grunt and her blush deepened.

Diane leaned in against the massively obese mouse, fished a remote from her chest pocket and turned the TV on. Together the pair settled into their afternoon routine of watching anime, which they would do until the rumbling of Jenny’s stomach became so loud that Diane would have no choice but to attend to it.

Things were good. The video streams continued to be a blast and the extra income certainly helped to keep Jenny fed. Although her weight defied conventional scales, Jenny could tell she was still growing. Still getting fatter and fatter. She could see it in the mirrors Diane provided and the cameras being pointed at her. It made her blush as much as it made her excited.

So big and still getting bigger? Just how big could a mouse get?

Together, they would find out.
