Dee’s eyes widened, and her muzzle flushed with heat. Her tail wagged fast and hard enough to sway her hips, and a whine keened in her chest. Sindri’s expression softened into a smirk, before something else crossed the smaller canid’s eyes. A flash of something mischievous danced across her muzzle and her tail slowed to a halt.

“That’s just not fair,” Dee laughed. “If you’re going to cheat like this though, I’m not letting you half-ass it.”

The maned wolf’s summoned, confident dominance faltered.

The little dog continued as she scurried to their fridge and retrieved a box of pastries. “You wear it good, but you’re not wearing it until you get a little more on you.”

She opened the black and purple box, unveiling the treats within. A dozen donuts glittered in the light of the apartment, brilliant and sparkling with a perfect glaze. They represented an assortment of flavors, the pinnacle of dessert and mad science alike. A printed block of text in the upper lid betrayed the morsels’ true nature. It bore the KLARD name in angular script, and beneath that was a litany of nutritional information. Each of the twelve snacks carried the caloric weight of a week, packed into a package small enough to fit in a single bite. The treats violated physics with their density. Despite the threat to her waistline, Sindri’s muzzle watered.

“If you’re going to dress up like Magni, you’ll have her figure too.”

Sindri opened her mouth to deflect, but Dee punished that mistake by jumping up and shoving one of them into her exposed maw.
