Hellos all!
I hope the winter season's been kind to you - this past two months have been extremely busy, all with dealing with the great social media migration from X to Bluesky while juggling work, projects, drawings, and tons of other things, so it's been hard to keep up on my end. Nevertheless, I'm still trying my best to catch up so here's what I have to show this time around! Biggest thing is definitely news on how the RPG project's been coming along! :)
Let's get to it!

Dad on a Stroll - A little drawing of Were in his everyday casual clothes just walking down the town streets, it's a nice and bright day out, will you join him on a walk? :)

Leathery Bonding Activities - Something spicy in the works! Some leather, some playful and very curious things going on all around here ;)
Were's model has been updated with chest fluffs, armpit fuzz and scruffy muzzle and jaw to reflect the latest visual update for him!~ Those fluffs are meant for faces and snoots :)

And his scruffier self is now also ready to provide you company in BoofRPG!

Vallent's model has been completed! From retopoogy, to texturing, to rigging his body and face altogether! I hope you're excited for one very spicy yeen man >:)



He is also now in BoofRPG, ready for action...

As your local blacksmith! Ready for his hammer? ;)

And of course, we can't just stop there with this spicy yeen! He's quite the leather daddy himself, so of course we have to give him proper gear for some fun animations I'd love to make for all the pleasures~

This is definitely the biggest chunk of work I've done this past while, and I'm quite happy with how it's going! While visually some of these are quite rough and still preview-y, the systems are there and I'm looking forward to making it all look beautiful in due time :)!
Magic Combat!
I've always wanted to make a game where magic casting can be very mobile - and this was the perfect chance to do so! While this is only a basic fireball being shown, I'm eager to get even more magic abilities going, especially magic combos. More on that soon!

Archer Combat!
There was a very dated and hacky preview I showed of archery a while back, and since then it's been revisited and now working much better! Similar to magic combat above, I'm excited to see about getting more mobility-affecting skills and combos for archers down the road. Let's see where it goes in time!

Dual Blades!
This is definitely the BIGGEST one that took a while to figure out due to nature of dual weapons in both hands and hitboxes, but I think I've got it down quite nicely! Here you get to see some additional skills this weapon type comes with :)

Photo Mode!
Photo mode was once in a much older, rougher prototype version of BoofRPG and is now brought back in as a feature! Very fun for getting some tasty shots of yourself or your favourite characters later :9 
Compass, Mini-map, Quest Log, and Dialogue!
A while back there was a very rough preview of dialogue and quests working and this has been brought back in as well! Not only that, but additionally, we now have a compass bar and mini-map! You can already feel your adventurous journey brewing with stories and quests to experience, soon! :) 
Save Shrine!
After a hard day's worth of adventuring, you can't forget to take a moment to rest and relief yourself at one of those.. very peculiar shrines... is that shrine shaped like a...?

And lastly....
"Intimate" Gameplay WIP!
This has taken quite some time to get working as well, and it is in a VERY rough shape and subject to be changed, as is with the very rough animation test here. The functionality is what I wanted to be there first at base, another gameplay pass for this system will be done so it isn't just a QTE mini-game, it will evolve in due time :) but hey! Seamlessly going into rubbing cutscene and interaction with your sausage, it's at least a start!

I'll try bit more with keeping up pace but realistically it can be difficult during certain months, especially how much heavy stuff that's happened this last two months. Christmas is coming up this month and so is the end of the year, let's give it our best! I'm excited to be able to sit down and fiddle even more on all the features above I've been working on :)
Unfortunately I've overestimated on myself about wanting to release an early demo this year too, but with how things have progressed lately, I think next year feels like it would be at a more comfortable spot for an early demo - I can't say when just yet, but that will be informed to you all as I progress more on the project's demo slice.
