November Suggestions Box!

It's been a while since we've done this one!

With weapon classes and skills being made, I would like to open up a suggestions box here to hear your thoughts and interests you'd like to share on what you personally enjoy playing when it comes to class-orientated RPGs! Whether that's in video games, or tabletop such as with D&D, and so on. Let's hear it! :)

While I can't take everything into consideration for BoofRPG, it's still fun to play with theoratical ideas and concepts. Some may even lead me to have ideas on solving anything I've struggled on creating now or later in the future even!

I personally enjoy classes such as barbarians with large two handers, bows, cleric mage healers, dual swords etc. What about you? :9

I think books with different magical projectiles would be great

RiverMutt

I've always liked demons and occult aesthetics so anything like blood magic, necromancy, anything horror really, etc... would be awesome to try out. also will goat be a playable species? I can't seen to find a full list of what's available for customization

For my part, I'm more of a Monk on DnD, hitting fast, hard and many times. Afterwards I like it when you can mix fist fights with magic (like the Dragon Hunters of Fairytail). Otherwise, I really like the principle of the warrior mage with pole weapons, with a scythe, an axe or a spear.

Bracielart

I usually have the most fun with bare-knuckle brawlers. Just my fists, feet, and skill to get me through fights. Failing that, my standby is sword-and-board. Can't go wrong with that.

Honestly, multiclassing is where it's at for me. I usually have something as a monk base (since it is so stable early on in most games) and then add other classes to the mix. In dnd 2024 I'm playing a mercy monk that has a splash of warlock that allows him access to rituals, scaling cantrips, and every damage type in the game. Good at close range and far, it functions as a good fill for my party. A monk druid wizard had unusual solutions to a variety of odd problems at low levels. But yea, overall strong interesting independent classes that can be mixed for various effects have been my bread and butter for years.

"nudist monk"? I always like the warrior monks in history, and always was it like in RPG the lighter the armor the lighter on your feet thing, so I WOULD like a Class that is perhaps with almost 0 armor class but insane attack stats and speed by being completely naked

Blockhead

I am not realy set in stone on a class especially in F14, but I do main Tank there. For this boof game I would say especially with the chracters a "scantly-clad human Airstrike" aka Dragoon would look hilarious in combat

Rei Loire

I really enjoy playing classes like rogues/rangers and bards, personally. Stealth, picking enemies off from a distance, etc has always been fun for me, and being a persuasive smooth-talker is ALWAYS fun in an RPG!

The Mysterious M3tav0X

Tantric Mage, using "fluid" magic >:3

Kujiiro

Alchemist, like from Pathfinder. They take mutagens to make themselves stronger and smarter or throw their concoctions like bombs

ForbiddenPancake

I've always been partial to mages and healers in rpgs, but someone once told me about a game with a "sword sage" class, where it was basically a mage but they used magic/telepathic swords instead of traditional elements. It seemed like a cool concept so I thought I'd share.
