Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve: Need Help for ARC-03

Greetings, fellow humans!

I was writing the latest chapter and quarter way through, I noticed that it contributed nothing at all to the story and the plot.  I scrubbed it and tried to r-write it, but couldn't figure out anything else to write.

I know it sounds like a block— but it's not, well partially not.

So, I have a plans for ARC-03 and ARC-04, but I'm lacking on the B-plot, intricacies, and plots links— essentially, for ARC-03, I know what I want to do for the Ring(underground fighting arena), but I don't know what Takuma's doing outside that.

Therefore, I need a help regarding that.

Essentialy, I would love if you guys treated this like the Post-ARC-01 Expectations post I did before.

I don't have the pointers like I had before, but what I want help with is: What else can Takuma do outside of the fighting arena?

Here's what I already have in my bag:

• I'm assuming ARC-03 would be the same length as the previous two.  Which is 30-ish chapters
  
• Out of that 30 chapters, I have 13 chapter ideas which I plan to construct 15-20 chapters.
  
• These chapter ideas include (without any specific spoilers):
  1) Arena fights.
  2) Non-fighting arena chapters (like a couple to answer some questions)
  3) Learning 1-2 new D-rank ninjutsu
  4) The first C-rank mission that will cover a few chapters (ARC-03's end)

NOTE [1]:  ARC-03 is supposed to span 1.5 years.  We have already covered half a year through the D-rank mission time-skip.  Just point it out if it helps idea generation.

NOTE [2]:  Takuma will move out of Genin Corp at the end of ARC-03.

The motivation behind ARC-03 and the underground fighting arena was that I wanted to buff up Takuma's combat skills.  But I didn't want to do training in isolation.  So, actually having him fight people looked appealing to me.

But, I can't just show only that.  I need something else in Takuma's life.  I spent to much time planning the arena plot, and ended up ignoring things outside of the "action".  Which is mainly what I want some help with.

Extra-Question:  Would you like to see chapters from Masaaki, Nenro, and Ai's POV, which don't include Takuma— or should I stick to Takuma?  They don't have to be in ARC-03, I'm asking in general.  Becuase I have seen fics which have huge side plots going on apart from the MC, and I have seen readers split on it.  It doesn't even have to be my OCs— what do you think about side-plots invovling with Naruto canon characters that don't involve Takuma.
