Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve: A Post-ARC-04 Update

ARC-04 is over and now that I'm about to start ARC-05, I'm present with the challenge on how to proceed with the story. It's obvious that ARC-05 takes place during one of the most important events in the canon.

The current "problem(?)" I'm currently tackling is how to come out of the timeskip that happens between ARC-04 and ARC-05. I have a rough idea of the plot, it's the matter of execution. The current plan makes it so things seem very abrupt and lack foreshadowing or any build-up before the climax/punchline.

Moreover, from what I'm hearing from the readerbase, I believe it's time for us to exist Policeman Takuma and go back to Tradition Shinobi Takuma. I also feel that I'll soon run out of things to write in the Police Force setting, and it's better to get out at the top before it becomes stale. You all might have noticed that the tail end of ARC-04 had nothing to do with the "Police Force" and was mostly dominated by genjutsu and the Ring and what's happening in background away from Takuma.

So, I think I'll be taking a couple days to plan a bit and write things. I might even post 1 or 2 chapters containing stuff I know will be there, just not sure the order of stuff in which I want to show them. It's not that big of a deal, but also big deal because presentation is important and I want to make sure we enter the next stage of this story feeling that it's "natural story progression" and not "something author wanted to happen."

Things probably won't change from the regular way of things here, but if they do, I'll make author's notes and ask you guys for advice. Those who are following here for a while, know that this kind of happens after every ARC as I stress about what to do with the story.

But, I don't have something like that this time because I myself am not sure what to get suggestions on. There's a lot of stuff I'm juggling as it's an important moment in history.
