"Boy this life is a hoot" ಠ_ಠ. Great visual comedy with casa del hoyt, and the newspapers extra funs. People don't seem to have a high opinion of Austin it seems. The Harpy panel is a reference to the Burney Relief, an ancient Mesopotamian cult relief, the rendition is really well done. It retains it's sense of ancient eldritchness, even drawn. The harpy herself has been debated to be Lilith, as she is so nicely highlighted beneath her name, and has been linked to the verses in Isaiah which are the opening of the strip. It was a nice way to tie the super freaky trip austin is having into the real world. Yay segue ways!
