It's been a journey huh? But we finally reach the end of this comic. I know, I know...is not a "good ending" right? The thing is, this comic was written around 2016-ish and after a failed attempt to start it with another artist and a long hiatus I finally found Jade to work with me around 2019.

And back then the Alpha Luna comic was still supposed to have a chapter 6 to solve this storyline with Ivan. So in a way this comic was a bridge between Chapter 4 and 6. But as you should know by now, AL is ending in chapter 5 and it will have an Epilogue to tie up things.

And such Epilogue will tackle some of the ideas I had for chapter 6 thus, yes we will see such a resolution in a different way. That's all I can say for now without spoiling much.

Again, it's a sour ending but it's not the "complete" story. In a way "Soul Bonds" was always about the father and son and his grief, and how our senses and bonds could be used against us. It was about the old "taming the beast" idea, the inner beast, and how even a werewolf could fail to other means of deception.

In the end, my idea wasn't about torturing Ivan as a character but to display the array of emotions running through a "newborn" werewolf and I hope you look forward for his resolution within the Alpha Luna's Epilogue.
