I woke up to my babies having conflicting conversations in the comment section of the newly released episode😭 First, I want to thank you all for keeping it respectful and polite! I love you for that 💜🫰🏻💜

Jungkook is Akio, and Taehyung is Haruki.

I want to point out few things regarding comments about jungkook such as ; Jungkook needs to fight for his relationship, or he needs a rival to show him that someone can give Taehyung what he's so afraid to fight or show for, or he doesn’t deserve him ,etc .

From a very young age, Jungkook decided to befriend Taehyung, even after his parents told him not to. He would sneak out and in of the house, often getting into trouble and even getting beaten up because of it. However, Jungkook still continued to do it repeatedly. He chose to start a relationship with Taehyung, even though he knew it would bring him more trouble. He consistently chooses Taehyung and is willing to find solutions for their situation. Jungkook has been fighting for Taehyung since forever. Yes, he faced many challenges along the way due to self-loathing, fear, self-doubt, and thinking he doesn't deserve him (he still thinks he doesn't). Despite this, he has come a long way in battling many inner demons and is still willing to fight for any future challenges, such as the engagement. This doesn't mean he isn't scared or terrified, as this would mean going head-to-head against his father, which is why he was scared when he confronted Taehyung. However, despite his fear, he's willing to fight for them and not give up.

The engagement happened unexpectedly and quickly for both. Let me tell you about the timeline of their relationship: they got together, buried themselves in their studies for their important report cards, a few weeks passed, they passed their exams and had their first date. All of this occurred within just a month. Jungkook didn't even have the time to fully focus on finding a solution. This was because his attention was still divided due to their studies.

Jungkook's personality should be noted here. He hates change and is very scared of it. For him to make a drastic change in his life, he needs to step out of his safe zone and confront his feelings and inner demons ,in which he did when he accepted his feeling and confessed to taehyung . And now, he also has to confront his dad. His father has planted self-doubt in him for years, making him believe he can't achieve anything alone. This is why Jungkook has refused to run away or seek help, fearing he won't make it on his own. He expressed this in the episode when he gave Taehyung a hickey, saying he doesn't want to work at McDonald's for the rest of his life** , This is a mix of both positive and negative aspects. It's positive because he desires better things for himself, but the negative is that he feels he can only achieve them with his father's help. Therefore, any action or change he takes, no matter how small it seems to others, is huge for him, as it goes against everything he's been told.

** ( no hate directed to any kind of job, it was mentioned due to the low payment rate compared to the load of work )

I want to address something I've wanted to say for a while but discarded. Now, I feel it's necessary to say: blaming Jungkook for his past hookups. Any hookup Jungkook had in the past isn't his fault, he was single . Taehyung never confronted him or expressed his feelings, instead he remained silent for a long time. Thus, it's not Jungkook's fault .  As they got together, you can tell that Taehyung still has these insecurities lingering in the back of his mind , but Jungkook has consistently worked to ease these insecurities by showing how comfortable he is with Taehyung sexually. Also, he has prioritized Taehyung, even over his own friends. He wouldn't undo all the progress he's made for a hookup or anything similar. Even in the episode before, he wasn't engaging with Yuki and his mind was elsewhere. And When he did talk to her, he mainly mentioned his best friend.

Yes, he believes Taehyung deserves better, but in the date episode, I explained why Taehyung loves only Jungkook. Jungkook is the only one who knows the little details about him and knows how to make him happy. I understand this episode made some of you upset, especially the part where Jungkook said 'only because she's like you' I mean , I would’ve been mad too if I were taehyung 💀💀💀 but Keep in mind Jungkook was half drunk at that moment, and his words were unfiltered, Yuki did remind him of taehyung(non gender specific traits ) , And he was only interested in engaging in a conversation by sharing that his best friend shares some traits with her.

A psychological aspect;  when you're in love or have someone who's consistently on your mind, you tend to seek traces of them in every person you interact with. Encountering similarities in traits often triggers thoughts of them.

please note that I don’t write my characters to be perfect, I write them to be relatable through a human-like lens on emotions, feelings, and experiences. This also extends to the ages of these characters.( they’re teenagers here )

During this particular arc in the comic, our couple's dynamic is characterized by Jungkook being the one who's consistently fighting, while Taehyung patiently waits. However , now Taehyung is the one who wants to give up, but I don't blame him. He's witnessed how powerful Jungkook's father's influence is in his life, always winning. He's seen this for 12 years. However, Jungkook knows he has to fight for what he wants, as nothing has come easily for him. This is why he's actively seeking a solution.

It's clear that Jungkook's part in fighting is far more extreme , life-changing, and intense than Taehyung's.

And don’t forget in all of this, when Jungkook confessed to Taehyung , Taehyung chose to be with him, and Taehyung knows there are going to be obstacles. Taehyung only gave up now because he felt everything was changing so fast suddenly. He doesn't want to become too attached too quickly, to the point where it would hurt so bad if they had to break up because things didn't work out. It's as if there are lingering trust issues still embedded in Taehyung when it comes to their future, especially considering how brutal Jungkook's father can be.

Would it be easier if they went their separate ways? Definitely. However, they would be each other's "the one who got away".

Will the love and happiness they find with any other future partners be the same? No. Because their love runs significantly deep passing the point of just lovers . Therefore, their love is undoubtedly worth fighting for 100%.

Perhaps I lean more toward Jungkook's side because I know what will happen in the future hahah
