2025-03-14 11:30:26 +0000 UTCIt is such a great parody. They even mention that the guest host who's going to fill in for the fill-in for Derry Murbles is David Bianculli. It's such a good name drop for NPR listeners. He is a television critic who regularly fills in for Terry Gross, who has hosted the interview show Fresh Air for the past 50 years. Terry Gross is one of the best interviewers I've ever heard.

It's a non-profit, nationwide radio network and they do sort of talk like that, and everyone fills in for everybody. :D The actor playing Derry Murbles is non other than Dan Castellaneta -- also known as the voice of Homer Simpson.
