This movie does have a certain warmth to it, its easy to watch when you're feeling poorly 🤣. Ah yes i have heard the term blue bloods before, that is a clever bit to add in the movie. We have noticed some British stuff is well written but not well received sadly, we would love to do more British stuff but sadly not many people have seen it purely because its not available in America 😥

2025-03-11 00:24:55 +0000 UTCOMG! I love this movie SO much! I must have watched it a thousand times since it came out. Yet I have NEVER noticed that one of the ghosts goes downwards! Well spotted! I am impressed. This film is literally my Princess Bride. Whenever I am off sick I will wrap myself up duvet, stick Stardust on, and imagine that Ian McKellen is my grandfather and he's reading me a story about the stars 😂 It's such an easy film to watch. The story is gripping but very gentle at the same time. At times you're sailing across the sky or strolling down a forest path with a unicorn. It's just magical. And it's such a great coming of age movie! And so funny! The reason the Prince's blood is blue, when the Witch slits his throat is because he's royal. It's a myth that the Royal family is blue blooded. There are lots of those little jokes woven throughout. Like the billy goat becoming Billy the Innkeeper. I know it's based on one of Neil Gaiman's books but it feels more like a Terry Pratchett book. Lots of individuals stories weaving together into one big adventure. It's just brilliant! Such a shame it bombed at the box office. It's such a British film but rather than leaning into the humour, and using that as a selling point, they tried to sell it like a Lord of the Rings type epic, that was also a love story, and a family friendly action adventure story. So, the trailer made it look RUBBISH! Such a shame because it looked amazing in the cinema. Thanks for much for reacting to this 😊
