When I asked my roommate Josh about his Thanksgiving plans, he grinned and said, "Oh, I’m looking forward to a big dinner lovingly prepared by a gorgeous, old-fashioned girl." I laughed and teased him, "Yeah, right! You don’t even have a girlfriend!" Then he cast a spell on me, and the next thing I knew I was twirling around the kitchen in a frilly apron, serving Josh a fresh-baked apple pie and calling him "darling." The weirdest part? I’m loving every sugary, cinnamon-scented second of it!
