2025-06-02 15:21:06 +0000 UTCLoved your reaction! And absolutely love this movie. For a heart warming Disney film about two sisters this film was very popular with boys and dads. Stitch is cute and fluffy but there are times when he is scary and gross. They really packed a lot into this film that would appeal to boys. A lot of the aliens are pretty scary looking, like the big shark dude. And this film came out the same year as Men in Black 2. So, the CIA space stuff was very in the air. Though I can't believe you guys didn't notice the voice of Bubbles is Ving Rhames who played Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction. I really think this film is brilliant because its so fun but its also dealing with really hard things. In the film Social Services do decide to take Lilo away. So, we get to see this really tender night of preparing to say goodbye. But in the film Lilo isn't taken away by social services. She's taken away by aliens and rescued. So, it takes you right up to the line but it doesn't cross is. I would say its an underrated masterpiece if it wasn't so popular. It did get its own spin off TV show which helped build the cult following it has.
