INTERIOR. APARTMENT. NIGHT.
NED and ED, two roommates, are sitting on a couch in their living room. A beautiful GENIE in a sparkly green costume stands before them.
GENIE: (To ED) Master, I've granted your first wish for great wealth, and your second wish for a great big... Well, anyway, now it's time for your third and final wish.
NED: This is your last shot, dude. Don't screw it up!
ED glances at NED and looks a little shifty.
ED: Uh, well... (To the GENIE:) I wish Ned would turn into a beautiful girl genie, like you.
NED: What?!
GENIE: Okay. I'm outta here. Later, losers!
She vanishes in a puff of green, sparkly smoke. A moment later the air shimmers around NED and he transforms into a curvy blonde genie in a little purple costume. He looks at ED indignantly.
NED: What the hell, dude?! Why did you use your last wish to change me into a genie?
ED: Well... this way I can get three more wishes.
NED: Yeah, but... I don't wanna be a genie! (He looks over at the coffee table and sees there is now a fancy, bejeweled bottle sitting on it.) Aw, jeez, that must be my bottle! I don't wanna be a chick who has to live in a bottle and wear some dumb costume, and... hey, why did you make me a girl genie, anyway? Why couldn't I have been a dude genie?
ED: Well, why would I want a dude genie? A girl genie is way more fun. And to be honest... you're actually even cuter than my old genie.
NED: Gross, dude! Come on, just hurry up and get your first two wishes over with, so you can use your third wish to change me back into a guy!
ED: Look, just relax, OK? I already know my first wish, and it's gonna fix everything so we'll both be happy.
NED: Oh, yeah? What is it?
ED looks shifty again.
ED: Well... I wish you'd call me 'master' and you'd love me and be my genie girlfriend and everything, just like on I Dream of Genie.
NED: Yes, master! (He realizes what he's just said and slumps down on the couch, folding his arms.) Aw, crap.
